Partlet complete
And it is done! Here are some preview shots. It is made from a lovely embroidered white silk and lined in linen. The lining has been pieced so the silk shows when the collar is turned back at the front.
Wires are inserted into the front edges to allow for maximum control over the shaping. You can wear it closed or with many different curves to suit your taste. Check out the Princess Elizabeth gown to see a tudor partlet of black velvet. The green wool gown has a matching wool and linen partlet in the patterning stages – check back soon :)

My client sourced it herself from interiormall.com. The overall design of this pre-embroidered silk was the most similar to a portrait the gown and partlet design are based on.
