Back from vacation

The beach was great but I did want to rush back to my fabric and sewing. I even got new fabric this week!

I did a little work on the website during my vacation. Finally added the teal headers to the side bar, as well as: featured projects, links to Cathy’s sites, and links to some of the books in my library through amazon’s nifty widget. So far the feedback I’ve gotten is that people like the teal because it stands out well & makes navigation more clear.

I’m not sure if the scrolling books is too distracting though. I love the covers of the books so it feels more artsy than just aadvertisement-y. I imagine most of you don’t see them because they will be blocked as ads.

I’m working on the library link for the main page that will have books I’ve read and enjoyed listed. I always immediately look at people’s book links to see if they found reference I haven’t seen yet. Every book I open I jump to their reference page so I know what books they were getting their information from. Books & research can be rather addictive!
