Gift Wrap corset: update

Hand sewing the binding and adding the lacing is all that is left! Sometimes it feels lovely to procrastinate on projects by working on a project. What a lovely present it is becoming.

-Silk dupioni in red shot with black
-black shapewell fuseable interfacing
-black cotton coutil structural fabric
-black linen lining (used to hide the cream threads that had to be pulled through, knotted and tucked)
-Matching binding machine embroidered with snowflake
-boned in 1/4″ sprial steel because this is intended to be worn during dancing and 1/4″ flat steel next to either side of the grommets
-#0 two piece grommets
-lacing panel in back inspired by expired corset patents
