Purple Victorian Wedding Gown: pleating & underskirt progress

The pleating will go all the way around the underskirt and then around the bottom of the detachable train. I only have the first length pleated (using the perfect pleater and a solution of 9 water: 1 vinegar to set the pleats on in the silk).

Start of the undeskirt with just the side pleating pinned in and ready to sew all the major seams. The tapes at back to make the fabric bustle up have not been installed yet so it is just wadded there how it wanted to be :)

Fitting was yesterday and went well. I’ll have pictures to share shortly showing the pleats pinned onto the underskirt & the beginning of draping the apron.
