Purple Corset update

My fencing master looked spectacular in her first corset. I was honored that she wore it to my wedding. She is also a very accomplished seamstress and does lovely custom fencing gear and outfits: Phobic Fencer Designs

She is super fond of purple and purchased enough of the fabrics to make a matching quilted cape herself. She also made the velvet gloves seen in these photos.

The corset was drafted with a 2″ gap and is worn with a 3″ gap for these photos. The request was for a corset that did not require much waist reduction but gave enough support. My favorite part is the pleated ruffle. The front is a busk closure with decorative spiral lacing.
