Navy & Green Loose gown: almost completed

Except for a lining for the upper back portion the loose gown is completed (this will be required since I edged the pair of bodies in bright white leather and it is showing through!). I should have lifted the mannequin so the front wasn’t dragging and looking funny – just imagine it is over a little pregnant belly :P.

I purposely left it single layered so that it would be very lightweight and easy to wear while pregnant. Of course the first event it went to it was freezing & I was wishing it were lined. It is quickly tied with some drapery cord I had laying around the workroom. The front is a little longer than the back to account for the growing belly but I didn’t bother to stuff the mannequin for the photos.
