Black Velvet Waistcoat: bust pads & button planning

These were lightly basted together to create the bust pads that fill out the area between the shoulder and the bust.
Hard to see much with the black on black!
I’ve always liked piping in garments. It adds such a touch of elegance. Not everyone likes to take the trouble of putting in piping, but as you know, it’s not a lot of extra work and is sure worth the effort. — just a very biased opinion.
