Oxford Conference of Corsetry

The exquisite work of master corsetiere Laurie Tavan is well known and we are thrilled that Laurie has agreed to join the team for 2017 and lead a practical workshop for us, demonstrating different historically inspired corset silhouettes and including an exploration of the use of unusual combinations of fabrics, hardware, and supplies to transform these historical ideals into something new and fresh. We will see the progress and choices made along the way in one of her recent projects from start to finish.
