Cranach style gown

Yes I have not worked on this since 2007! But here are some updates. I hope to wear it this weekend.

Currently during a fitting:

I wanted this gown to work for breastfeeding and carrying around the new baby so I did the bodice more similar to these so I’d have more range of motion that putting the upper portion fully off the shoulder.

I also lost 11lbs this past 2 months since cutting & fitting the bodice so it closes together more in the front than I’d like. Once my weight settles I’ll probably take off the front guarding and move it over further so I’ll have more lacing showing at center lower front. Now to finish the sleeves.
